Ammonia water(Ammonia technical water)

Ammonia technical water is a solution of technical ammonia in water, alkaline reaction. It is a colorless or yellowish liquid with a pungent odor containing 20-21% nitrogen. Nitrogen in the fertilizer is contained in the forms of free ammonia (NH3 ) and ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH). The volume weight of the fertilizer is 0.90-0.98 t/m³.

The nitrogen in ammonia water is better fixed by the soil than the ammonium nitrogen in solid fertilizers. This makes it possible to use ammonia water for the main application, as well as during pre-sowing cultivation and for fertilizing row crops. The best way to apply it to the soil is pre-sowing. Ammonia water is more effective for crops than solid ammonium-nitrate fertilizers. Thanks to its water-soluble form, ammonia water is an economical and effective fertilizer. At the same time, it helps to destroy soil pests. It can be applied on all soils, in all soil and climatic zones of Ukraine and for all crops. When applied in the fall, it is not washed out by precipitation, which saves time and basic and production resources during sowing in the spring. Ammonia water also has the effect of deoxidizing soils due to the alkaline reaction of the nitrogen it contains. Thanks to its liquid form, ammonia water can be applied very efficiently and evenly, to a given depth and over large areas.

The fertilizer is applied with special machines that ensure immediate incorporation to a depth of at least 10-12 cm on heavy soils and 14-18 cm on light soils.
