Potassium Chloride KCI60%

The main potash fertilizer produced during the processing of sylvinite and carnallite ores. Chemically pure potassium chloride contains 63.1% K2O. Depending on the production method, potassium chloride is supplied to the agricultural sector with a content of 57 to 60% K2O. In terms of appearance, potassium chloride is a fine crystalline powder or irregularly shaped granules of grayish-white or reddish-brown color. It can be in the form of large grayish-white crystals.

Potassium chloride is a highly concentrated potash fertilizer. Mass fraction of potassium in terms of K2O is not less than 60%. Bulk density is 0.92 – 0.95 t/m³. The most popular forms are fine and granular, the latter being in greater demand among farmers. Physiologically acidic fertilizer. It is used for application in the fall for main cultivation, for all crops, on all soils, except for salt marshes and saline soils. In areas of sufficient moisture, it is possible to apply in spring 2-3 weeks before sowing (to wash chlorine deep into the soil profile). It is not recommended to apply in spring under chlorophobic crops: Solanaceae, flax, grapes, flowers and other plants.
